Well after our website has been down for the last few weeks, we are finally back up and running!! Hoorayy

Last week was a very exciting week for us here at Defy Imaging, on Wednesday the new issue of Bride To Be Magazine was released and one of our beautiful couples - Lidia & Christian Tinelli had their wedding featured in the Magazine! ..Stay tuned for the magazine story!!

To celebrate the release of the new issue of Bride to Be Magazine, our bride Lidia Tinelli was asked to appear on Channel 7's morning show with Larry and Kylie to talk about her wedding and their amazing wedding budget of $125,000. WOW. As I am sure our frequent blog visitors know, Lidia and Christian's wedding followed the theme of "Fairytales", they were the very first couple to get married in the newly rennovated Saint Mary's Cathedral - it was such a fabulous honour to be photographing the very first wedding in this amazing Cathedral.

Our images were also a feature of the interview, which was such an amazing honour!! Check out the video below!! I am so excited!!

Last week I photographed the Chisholm College Pre Ball, it was a very hectic afternoon - with over 250 people attending. The girls looked amazing with their beautiful gowns and the boys looked very sharp in their suits. Adriana looked amazing in her hand made gown by Samantha Jane Couture, even all of the detail in the gown was hand made! It was absolutely stunning! After we finished all of the family shots, all of the students got into their limo's and we met at East Perth to finish the shoot!

Jess and Daniel both live in Port Hedland - so the fact they managed to organise the entire wedding while living miles away from Perth is amazing! They were both so great to work with on the day, and their bridal party was so much fun. The bridesmaids looked beautiful in their coral dresses and tied in perfectly to the beach theme.

The ceremony was held at the Cottesloe Civic Centre, followed by photographs on the beach and around Hillary's. Shooting on the beach was so fantastic, the light was perfect, the wind was blowing - everything was working in our favour!

Jess and Daniel had their reception at Aqwa - and it was amazing! I can safely say that it was the first time I have photographed a bride and groom with sharks and sting rays in the background! It was such a fantastic experience, and the blues came up so beautiful!
